Day 14- A picture of someone you could never imagine your life without.

These are my parents Eduardo and Janet. I really love them. Sometimes I don’t value them as I should, but truth is my life is easier now thanks to them. They have supported me in several ways, and given me freedom and independence. It is really hard to imagine my life without them, that’s why I pray God I can share many more years with them and see them together forever.

Day 13- A picture of your favorite band or artist.

I took this picture in November 2008 when Coldplay performed at the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN. They were only 5 rows above me. They are my favorite band; I believe they would make the soundtrack of my life.

Day 12- A picture of a cause you defend.

The Referendum for the Rights of Nature aims for the State recognition and protection to natural life of the Earth, water, animals, trees and plants, rocks, shells and to peace with natural life. Nature is part of our lives and it’s alive. It should have the same rights all living creatures have.

Day 11- A picture of the most important characteristic you’re looking for in a significant other

Well, this is a hard question because I’m not looking for anyone at the moment. However, I’m looking for a girl who loves God. Someone who is honest and trustworthy. She needs to be bilingual, French is a plus ;). This girl should love traveling so we can go on trips together.

Day 10- A picture of the place where you want to live

I would love to live in Florida or California. I realized I love warm places on the coast. People are happier when it’s warmer, they go out on barbecues or trips to the beach… I think people are more relaxed as well.

Day 09- A picture of the what you want to study when you graduate from high school

When I graduated from high school I wanted to become a Chemical Engineer because I was pretty good at chemistry and numbers. However, I was not admitted to that program, which made me feel pretty bad. Then, I learned that I had earned a scholarship to study Accounting; so I did 2 semesters and then I quit because I didn’t see myself in front of a computer every day. I made up my mind and I started Modern Languages at Universidad Distrital in 2003, since I’d always loved English and other languages. I graduated in April 2008, and now I’m taking a Masters in Applied Linguistics to Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I love being a language teacher because I can use English or French as an excuse to get to my students’ minds and hearts and be a guide 🙂

Day 07- A picture of your most treasured item.

This is one of my most treasured items: my laptop. It’s pretty much MY LIFE. I have stuff from work, from school and personal. Most of the files I have is music, pictures from my trips, and important documents. Right now I’m suffering because the external sound is broken and I need to get it fixed soon 😦

I also use it to be online, get my work done and to call my friends who live in the USA for free!

Day 06- A picture of the person you’d love to trade places with for a day.

No idea who they are… but I’d love to trade places with him 😛

Day 05- A picture of your favorite memory.

I don’t have a single favorite memory. I have several and it was hard to choose just one, so I picked three.

January 2010. Grand Canyon, Arizona has definitely to be there. It’s so breathtaking! It was amazing to see snow on the cacti in the desert!!

March 2009. Welcome to Scotland!! I will always thank God for giving me the chance to make it there. It’s where I want to end up eventually.

My 23rd birthday party in Forest Lake, MN, my second home 🙂 I have great memories from that evening. Great friends were there.

Believe me, there are a lot of awesome memories… generally of the trips I’ve made, places I’ve worked and amazing people I’ve met

Day 04- A picture of a habit you wish you didn’t have….

PROCRASTINATION:  It is avoiding things that need to be done, or leaving things undone as long as possible. . . I don’t follow the proverb “Don’t put off till tomorrow what you can do today.”
